1. Use of the App

Greek History is provided for personal, non-commercial, educational use. The historical content is intended for general learning and reference. History is interpreted and summarized; dates, attributions, and descriptions may be simplified or contain inaccuracies, and should not be relied upon for academic, legal, or professional purposes.

2. Content & Sources

Attribution: Historical map scans are taken from Shepherd's Historical Atlas (1926), which is in the public domain, via Wikimedia Commons. Entry summaries and thumbnail images draw on Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons and are used under their respective licenses (primarily CC BY-SA). Each entry links to its source page so you can read more and verify.

Greek History is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wikipedia, the Wikimedia Foundation, or any other source referenced in the App.

3. Intellectual Property

The App's design, layout, original code, and curated editorial text are the property of the developer. Third-party historical content remains the property of its respective rights holders and is used under the terms noted above.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete, or current.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the App or its content.

Greek History is built to be private by design. In short: we do not collect any personal data about you.

None. The App has no account, no sign-up, and no login. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, or any personal information.

The App works fully offline. It may connect to the internet only to load illustrative images for entries and to open a Wikipedia page when you tap "Read on Wikipedia." These requests are made directly to those services and carry no personal identifier from us. Their use is governed by their own privacy policies.

The App is suitable for general audiences and does not collect data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date.
